Education Specialist (PART-TIME)

We're seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Education Specialist, ideally based in the Midlands.

Salary Range:

£21,383- £22,539
per annum*
*dependent on experience inclusive of 19.68 days annual leave. (£38,480 – £40,560pa +41 days annual leave FTE)

9am – 3pm

*Term time only – 39 weeks per year

We are seeking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Education Specialist, ideally based in the Midlands area.

The successful candidate will be involved in supporting foster carers and social workers at education meetings, attending PEP meetings, acting as a foster child’s advocate where required, carrying out training for social workers and foster carers, updating management and social workers on changes within education, and challenging school policies and sanctions when and where necessary.

The role is home based, to cover all regions across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, East Anglia, Midlands, Yorkshire, North West. Support may be provided remotely (via Teams), or in person (requiring travel to the region).

Applicants need to be able to take a flexible approach to working, including occasional out of office hours. Applicants must have at least five years classroom teaching experience, alongside recent teaching experience in Primary or Secondary Education. There must be an up-to-date understanding of educational reforms and policies and procedures, alongside evidence of strong interpersonal and communication skills. Applicants must be able to work autonomously and hold a degree and teaching qualification.
